ASCG seeks new applications for its Technical Committees

The Nominating Committee of the Accounting Standards Committee of Germany (ASCG) is looking for independent, honorary members, both for its German GAAP (two) and its IFRS Technical Committee (three) (m/f/d).

For the German GAAP Technical Committee, interested parties with professional experience in the field of preparing financial statements in corporates as well as auditors are sought.

For the IFRS Technical Committee, the search extends primarily to candidates with professional experience in the area of preparing financial statements in corporates, to candidates with professional experience in the audit industry, and to academics.

Members are appointed for a term of three to five years, with the possibility of re-election. Generally, the maximum term of office shall not exceed ten years.

The ASCG aims to increase the proportion of women on its technical bodies and therefore strongly encourages suitable female candidates to apply.
