Joint Outreach on the IASB Exposure Draft „Risk Mitigation Accounting“

The Accounting Standards Committee of Germany (DRSC) and the IASB are jointly hosting an outreach event. The topic is IASB Exposure Draft ED/2025/1 “Risk Mitigation Accounting – Proposed Amendments to IFRS 9 and IFRS 7” (we reported).

Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (CET) – virtual format – in German (selected content will be presented in English)

The purpose of the event is to primarily present the IASB exposure draft to the interested public. An initial discussion is also welcome. Participation is free of charge. However, registration is requested and can be completed by March 8, 2026, at this link. You will receive the dial-in details after the registration deadline.

Note: We are planning a second public event/outreach on this exposure draft. This will take place later during the comment period, probably in June/July 2026. This second event, which will also be virtual, will then be a rather in-depth discussion. Further information will follow as soon as the date has been set.
