Sustainability Standards Conference 2025 – Invitation

Following the successful launch in 2024, we are pleased to invite you to the second Sustainability Standards Conference, taking place on 21 and 22 July 2025 at Goethe University Frankfurt.

We are organising the conference jointly with the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Goethe University Frankfurt and the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, with the support of the House of Finance and Deutsche Börse Group. The conference will focus on the implementation and further development of IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. Perspectives from academia, regulation and practice will shape a platform for cross-disciplinary exchange and dialogue.

Under the theme “Advancing Sustainability Disclosure: Implementing the Global Baseline and Future Strategies for Biodiversity and Human Capital”, the 2025 conference will focus on current challenges in sustainability reporting. Key topics include the application of the ISSB’s global baseline in practice and current trends in the disclosure of biodiversity and human capital information.

The event will be held in person at Goethe University, Frankfurt / Main. Participation is free of charge. The conference language is English.
