Second Joint Outreach on the IASB Exposure Draft „Risk Mitigation Accounting“ successful
On June 2, 2026, the DRSC together with the IASB, EFRAG and AFRAC have jointly hosted a second outreach event on the IASB Exposure Draft ED/2025/1 “Risk Mitigation Accounting”. Earlier, on March 18, 2026, a first Outreach Event by the DRSC took place. Read more

ESRS Set 1 and VS: DRSC comment letters for the EU Commission
On 3 June 2026, the DRSC submitted a comment letter to the European Commission on the revision of the ESRS Set 1 (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2772) and a further comment letter on the Voluntary Standard for Sustainability Reporting (VS). Read more

IASB issues IFRS 20 to improve financial reporting for companies subject to rate regulation
Yesterday, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) issued IFRS 20 Regulatory Assets and Regulatory Liabilities, a new Accounting Standard for companies subject to a specific type of rate regulation. Read more

Follow-up: Public information events on the ESRS revision and the VS
On 12 May 2026, the DRSC held two public information events: one on the consultation regarding the ESRS revision, attended by around 350 participants, and one on the consultation regarding the sustainability reporting standard for voluntary use (Voluntary Standard, VS), attended by around 200 participants.
